National Donut Day is this Friday, June 5, and it's turning into a day of free fried goodness. Dunkin' Donuts announced that it'll be giving away donuts all day to mark the glorious occasion, and now Krispy Kreme has joined in on the action.

The North Carolina-based chain is offering free donuts at all participating locations this Friday, according to a company press release.
