K-State group gets U.S. license on early cancer cells detection innovation

Scientists at Kansas State College have received a UNITED STATE patent on a new innovation to sense cancer cells and also lumps in beginning, also before the appearance of physical symptoms. The innovation relies on ironoxide-core nanoparticles coated with amino acids and fluorescent dyes that connect with enzymes in an individual’s blood sample.
