Taco Shop Mocks Burglars, Turns Break-In Footage Into Hilarious Commercial

A Las Vegas taco shop has turned a break-in into a unique advertising opportunity.

Frijoles & Frescas Grilled Tacos released security footage that shows two burglars attempting to smash through a glass door and rummaging through restaurant on Dec. 16. Thanks to some crafty editing, the video also includes a hilarious series of captions suggesting that, just maybe, these suspects really wanted some tacos.

"We want to believe our food is so good people will break down the door to get it. I mean I would," one owner told News 3 LV. "After watching the footage I'm a little more convinced they were after cash and not the food."

The clever appeal for the public's help has garnered over 2 million YouTube views. Perhaps even better, the owners said there was no cash in the register that night.

As the video says: "We take full responsibility for what our tacos make people do."
