Drop Everything: There Are 2 New Girl Scout Cookies And They're Inspired By S'mores

We can't think of a better way to celebrate National S'mores Day than this.

Girl Scouts, those purveyors of growth and leadership skills for young women and, duh, cookies, celebrated its upcoming 100th anniversary of Girl Scout cookie-selling a few months early Wednesday by introducing not one, but two brand spanking new cookies.

The two new cookies are both named Girl Scout S'mores, and were announced in conjunction with the all-important S'mores holiday with good reason― they're both inspired by the summer campfire treat we all know and love.

According to the Girl Scouts blog, one Girl Scout S'mores is a “crispy graham cookie double dipped in a crème icing and enrobed in a chocolatey coating” and the other is a “crunchy graham sandwich cookie with a chocolate and marshmallowy filling”

These newest additions come a little over a year after the group launched three other new flavors, and will be available during the always highly anticipated 2017 cookie season.

So... is it cookie season yet where you live? Or how soon does it start? Keep track on the Girl Scouts website or if you're even s'more dedicated, the Girl Scout Cookie Finder mobile app (iOS, Android).
